Description

Provide regular report status updates to clients and coordinate clarification, addendum, and delivery requests.
Review physician reports for clinical accuracy, spelling, grammar, punctuation, format, and completeness.
Evaluate reports against client, jurisdictional, and state requirements, including special handling instructions.
Work directly with physicians and office staff to resolve questions, obtain clarifications, and secure final approval and signatures.
Follow up with clients and physicians to gather missing information and support on-time report delivery.
Participate in client calls or meetings when a report is in question.
Serve as a liaison with the VP of Clinical Operations on quality issues and new reviewer reports.
Support process improvements that improve turnaround time, peer-to-peer success rates, and client satisfaction.
Provide oversight to team members when needed and complete other assigned projects based on business needs.
Approve cases for release to the client after quality review is complete.

Requirements

Associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting preferred.
Exceptional communication skills with a clear understanding of company business lines.
Ability to apply critical thinking, manage time efficiently, and meet specific deadlines.
Computer literacy and typing skills are essential.
Ability to perform job duties that may involve lifting, bending, traveling, prolonged sitting, and extended computer work.
Must supply and maintain uninterrupted internet service for a work-from-home position.
Ability to support work-from-home technical requirements with own internet services.
Strong attention to detail for reviewing reports and ensuring compliance with requirements.
