Description

  • Ensure delivery of key client performance metrics, including turnaround time, quality, P2P success, overturn rate, and other customer-specific measures.
  • Lead the Operations Management Team and oversee day-to-day operational procedures.
  • Attract, recruit, and retain team members.
  • Partner with the Group Health Operations Teams on internal and external quality audits and recommend process improvements.
  • Recommend development initiatives that improve technology use for client satisfaction and internal efficiency.
  • Reconcile client outcomes reports and issue logs.
  • Oversee the overall profit and loss of the Group Health Division.
  • Work with the National Medical Director to develop and manage the physician panel.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or graduate degree preferred.
  • 5-10 years of experience managing a team of Utilization Management (UM) Nurses at a health plan or IRO.
  • RN license required, preferably BSN or higher.
  • Experience working with Utilization Management standards and guidelines.
  • Experience leading an operational unit or division while meeting customer service goals and profitability objectives.
  • Strong communication skills with a clear understanding of company business lines.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking, manage time efficiently, and meet specific deadlines.
  • Computer literacy and typing skills are essential.
  • Ability to perform job duties that may involve lifting, bending, traveling, long periods of sitting, and computer work.
  • Must supply and support own internet service and maintain uninterrupted internet connectivity for the work-from-home position.
