Description

  • Coordinate settlements from unconditional approval through to settlement and post-settlement filing.
  • Act as the main liaison with banks, solicitors, and conveyancers to keep documentation and deadlines on track.
  • Review loan offers and mortgage documents for accuracy and compliance with Australian lending requirements.
  • Provide proactive updates to clients and respond to settlement questions or concerns.
  • Identify and resolve settlement issues such as missing documents or funding discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline tracking for active applications.
  • Complete post-settlement support, including thank-you follow-up, compliance tasks, and commission tracking.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a settlements or loan processing role within the Australian mortgage industry.
  • Strong understanding of the Australian mortgage lifecycle, including PEXA and lenders’ portals.
  • Experience across loan structures such as First Home Buyer, Construction, SMSF, and Refinancing.
  • Familiarity with Australian credit legislation and privacy requirements.
  • Experience using industry-standard CRM tools and mortgage processing platforms.
  • A proactive, outcome-driven mindset with strong accountability (preferred).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a high volume of files while maintaining quality (preferred).
