Description

  • Liaise with directors, mortgage brokers, broker support staff, clients, lenders, solicitors, conveyancers, real estate agents, and referral partners throughout the loan process.
  • Prepare, review, and submit loan applications accurately and on time using company checklists and standardised processes.
  • Verify client information and supporting documentation to meet lender and compliance requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients from pre-assessment through settlement and provide updates throughout the application process.
  • Guide clients on mortgage options, loan terms, interest rates, repayment plans, and document collection.
  • Prepare credit proposals and complete pre-assessment and loan proposal documentation with the broker.
  • Track application progress, resolve issues or delays, and escalate concerns on files in progress to the mortgage broker.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and document submissions in the CRM and file system.
  • Ensure applications and loan documents meet regulatory, lender, and company compliance standards.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and industry partners, including post-settlement annual product and interest rate reviews.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Australian mortgage broking industry.
  • Experience in loan processing, financial services, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage, asset finance, personal loan, and business/commercial loan products and application processes.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and loan submission platforms.
  • Mercury CRM experience is essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management, planning, and problem-solving ability.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a mortgage broking firm or lending institution is preferred.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the financial services industry is preferred.

Benefits

  • Salary of AU$3,100 to AU$4,200 per month.
  • Work schedule of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Brisbane time.
