Description

  • Lead the Group Paralegal and compliance personnel embedded across CXM Group entities.
  • Build and deploy group-wide compliance reporting, escalation, dashboards, and governance frameworks.
  • Own regulatory relationships, inquiries, responses, regulator meetings, and compliance communications.
  • Drive licensing and M&A milestones across MiCA, VARA, South Africa, LATAM, and Southeast Asia.
  • Research regulatory developments, guidance, and enforcement trends across target jurisdictions and business lines.
  • Implement legal and compliance risk-monitoring tools across FX, CFDs, crypto, prediction markets, prop trading, and education.
  • Create and maintain an AI-enabled, searchable repository of group agreements, licences, policies, and regulatory correspondence.
  • Establish and enforce internal legal SLAs, including 24-hour contract reviews and 48-hour contract drafting.
  • Partner with Operations and IT to maintain compliance reporting infrastructure and systems.
  • Personally handle high-stakes, novel, and regulator-facing legal or compliance matters.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated multi-jurisdictional knowledge of CySEC, FCA, NFA, ASIC, UAE, Mauritius, Seychelles, SVG, Cambodia, MiCA, and global crypto licensing regimes.
  • Proven credibility and experience engaging directly with regulators across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Experience supporting M&A structuring, regulatory due diligence, entity integration, and parallel licensing processes preferred.
  • Experience deploying AI tools for legal document retrieval, contract review, or risk monitoring preferred.
  • Ability to lead compliance and legal teams, delegate effectively, establish standards, and own SLA performance.
  • Background as a Chief Compliance Officer, Head of Compliance, Regulatory Affairs Director, M&A Compliance Lead, or senior legal leader in financial services or crypto.
  • Experience across regulated FX, CFDs, crypto, or other multi-asset businesses with multiple entities and active regulator relationships.
  • Ability to manage compliance across six asset classes and approximately a dozen jurisdictions.
  • Availability to work remotely with preferred alignment to EU time zones and occasional travel for regulator meetings and regional teams.
