Description

  • Support and maintain the compliance program, including BSA/AML, policy development, procedure maintenance, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Support audits and reviews of the AML compliance program and help internal stakeholders resolve issues.
  • Develop and manage project plans for regulatory remediation efforts, including scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate remediation efforts with internal teams and external consultants and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Prepare materials for working groups, committees, project dashboards, and executive presentations.
  • Ensure clear and timely customer communication during the RFI process.
  • Conduct due diligence reviews and ad hoc compliance assessments as needed.
  • Support consumer compliance obligations, including Reg E and UDAAP.
  • Own and maintain compliance policies and procedures, keeping them current with regulatory and business changes.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and perform ad hoc special projects as required.
  • Work with regulators and help maintain regulatory relationships as needed.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of compliance experience in a financial services, fintech, or banking environment.
  • Working knowledge of BSA/AML requirements and the Bank Secrecy Act framework.
  • Direct experience with consumer compliance regulations, including Reg E and UDAAP.
  • Experience supporting regulatory audits, managing remediation projects, and coordinating cross-functional compliance efforts.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience preparing materials for working groups, committees, or regulatory submissions.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to move forward without a fully defined path.
  • Fintech or crypto industry background preferred.
  • Consumer compliance experience with Reg E and prepaid or credit card products is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with banking regulators and examination processes is a plus.
