Description

  • Serve private equity portfolio companies within the Office of the CFO and help create diagnostic frameworks to improve finance function effectiveness.
  • Lead implementation of portfolio support capabilities, including bottoms-up annual budgets and forecasts based on SaaS operating drivers and metrics.
  • Prepare monthly financial management reporting across ARR, bookings, headcount, and other key measures, including variance analysis versus prior year, forecast, and budget.
  • Assess current processes and build or modify analytical resources, tools, models, metrics, and methodologies to strengthen decision support.
  • Develop ARR roll-forward models and snowballs to track key movements and analyze gross and net retention.
  • Support cash management, including monthly and 13-week cash flow forecasts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with portfolio company leaders, Private Equity sponsors, and CrossCountry team members to deliver client service.
  • Transition solutions back to portfolio company teams so they can sustain the processes and tools implemented.
  • Contribute to firm-approved AI-enabled client solutions and help identify compliant opportunities to improve client work and internal processes.
  • Participate in business development efforts and mentor junior team members through coaching, feedback, and performance reviews.

Requirements

  • 9+ years of FP&A experience, preferably in a private equity-backed company.
  • Experience in the Software / SaaS industry.
  • Strong client relationship-building experience and the ability to work effectively with portfolio company and sponsor stakeholders.
  • Fluent understanding of revenue recognition, income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow drivers.
  • Significant experience building complex financial models for analysis and forecasting.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience with data analytics tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, or SQL is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • CPA is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%, depending on client needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to responsibly use firm-approved AI tools and openness to learning emerging technologies.
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior team members and helping project teams resolve complex issues.
