Description

  • Provide technical leadership and serve as the primary technical authority for customer engagements in observability and/or security domains.
  • Lead and execute complex customer deployments end-to-end, including architecture, design, development, deployment, operationalization, and documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Sales Engineering, Support, and Customer Success teams to resolve customer problems and drive successful outcomes.
  • Onboard and shepherd customers at all stages of their Cribl journey, helping new customers get started and enabling established customers to uncover additional value.
  • Create and maintain learning resources such as best-practice documentation, runbooks, blog posts, workshops, and customer training materials.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer, enablement, coaching, and mentoring for team members, customers, and partners.
  • Act as a thought leader to drive complex deployments and recommend solutions tailored to customer requirements.
  • Occasionally perform duties outside standard working hours to support customers across multiple time zones.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in technical consulting or big data analytics.
  • Extensive experience deploying and managing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Practical experience with Big Data/observability/security tools such as Splunk, Elastic, Grafana, Datadog, Exabeam, and Azure Sentinel.
  • Proven experience with complex enterprise applications and container/orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker, plus automation tooling.
  • In-depth knowledge of Unix and Windows operating systems and proficiency with command line interfaces and GUIs.
  • Proficiency in scripting (examples cited include JavaScript) and experience building scripts and automation workflows.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage technical staff and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences and solving complex technical challenges.
  • Preferred: ability to thrive in a fast-growing remote environment, relevant software industry experience (IT systems, infrastructure management, application development/management, security, analytics), and willingness/ability to travel up to 30%.
