Description

  • Prepare general ledger account reconciliations in FloQast and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Prepare period-end journal entries, including prepaids, accruals, amortization, and short- and long-term reclassifications.
  • Lead transformation projects to automate accounting processes and optimize the Record-to-Report function.
  • Evaluate, document, and redesign financial workflows to identify inefficiencies and improve scalability.
  • Partner with the Enterprise Applications team to streamline processes using data infrastructure and AI models.
  • Serve as a business partner by sharing accounting expertise across departments.
  • Collaborate with FP&A, Legal, People, and other teams to support internal management and external reporting.
  • Assist with audit support and respond thoughtfully to auditor inquiries.
  • Drive efficiency by leveraging NetSuite and other point solutions to reduce manual work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA certification or progress toward CPA preferred.
  • 6+ years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Experience in Big 4 accounting or at a global software/technology company preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Experience supporting SOX compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Proven critical thinking ability.
  • A self-starter who can work independently and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Passion for technology and a builder mindset focused on scalable solutions.
  • Curious, enthusiastic, and willing to ask questions and challenge the status quo.
  • Proficiency with NetSuite, ZipHQ, FloQast, and Windows preferred.
  • Direct accounting experience with accruals, investments, internal-use software, stock-based compensation, deferred commissions, cloud computing arrangements, or consolidation preferred.
  • IPO and audit experience preferred.
