Description

  • Assist with QA processes and help evaluate testing tools and methodologies.
  • Implement technologies and practices that support QA strategy and continuous improvement.
  • Establish and implement QA best practices to improve development and QA efficiency.
  • Work with Science and Product teams to refine features, contribute to requirements, and write test cases.
  • Design, develop, and execute regression tests for new features.
  • Perform exploratory testing of new features.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to developers throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Investigate, isolate, and document bugs thoroughly and concisely.
  • Collaborate with scientists, product managers, designers, developers, and test automation QA to define, test, and launch new functionality.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills and a self-driven, reliable mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to view quality as a collective team responsibility.
  • Determination to investigate and isolate the root cause of bugs.
  • Strong attention to detail and motivation to understand the product deeply.
  • Ability to document issues thoroughly and concisely with the reader in mind.
  • Interest in making detailed observations to improve user experience.
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails (preferred).
  • Ability to write BDD scenarios using Cucumber in a consistent and structured manner (preferred).
  • Industry-specific certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or CSQA (preferred).
  • Familiarity with CI and CD tools and practices (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Gherkin (preferred).
  • Experience in Healthtech (preferred).
