Description

  • Plan, organize, and execute day-to-day testing activities in an agile/scrum environment.
  • Participate in scrum and product planning across all phases of testing, including strategy, requirements, planning, execution, management, and reporting.
  • Document, communicate, troubleshoot, and validate issues, bugs, and changes before client delivery.
  • Collaborate with other QA staff to complete daily QA tasks on time and with high quality.
  • Develop and improve QA processes to ensure the highest possible level of quality assurance.
  • Investigate procedures, workflows, and software to keep QA processes current.
  • Assist in creating ongoing training programs for the QA team.
  • Provide orientation and training for new QA hires.
  • Support internal project kickoffs and requirements/specification gathering.
  • Design technical test cases for complex business and functional requirements and help enforce quality gates throughout the pipeline.

Requirements

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in manual software quality assurance, preferably with mobile testing.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with both white-box and black-box testing.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
  • Proficiency in Postman and JMeter.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
