Description

  • Lead the design process from conceptualization through implementation, delivering high-quality, user-centered experiences.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to define problems and create end-to-end solution designs.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate design concepts and directions.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and improve product outcomes.
  • Use modern AI-powered tools to rapidly ideate, prototype, and refine design solutions.
  • Explore AI-augmented workflows that produce high-fidelity prototypes and front-end-ready code to reduce handoff friction.
  • Actively lead product discovery by identifying opportunities, shaping solutions, and driving development.
  • Mentor and guide junior designers while fostering continuous learning as the team scales.
  • Apply industry trends and best practices to continuously improve design processes and product practices.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a focus on web and mobile applications.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design, interaction design, and visual design expertise.
  • Strong product mindset with the ability to drive product discovery and development.
  • Proficiency in Figma with strong attention to structure, consistency, and scalability.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience leading design projects or teams, with the ability to guide and inspire others.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of aesthetics and attention to detail.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools for design, prototyping, or code generation such as Cursor or Claude Code.
  • Ability to produce design outputs close to production-level quality and understand how designs translate into code.
  • Experience working in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments with a proactive approach to defining processes.
  • Experience in the insurance industry is highly desirable but not mandatory.
