Description

  • Design and build the agent harness, including skill loading, tool invocation, context management, execution sandboxing, compaction patterns, and sub-agents.
  • Stand up the evaluation pipeline to measure skill effectiveness, catch regressions, and convert production failures into fixed behaviors.
  • Partner with product and engineering to ship the first 3–5 supplier-facing use cases, including invoicing, catalog, and strategic views.
  • Define and maintain the platform’s cloud deployment and configuration for production, scaling, and security.
  • Make architectural decisions around runtime isolation, credential handling, audit logging, and tenant separation.
  • Collaborate with DevOps specialists to ensure the platform is deployed securely and operates reliably in production.
  • Raise the team’s standards for agentic tooling by determining what to automate, what to verify, and what to leave to humans.
  • Work as a strong individual contributor while ramping into leadership of harness design.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience shipping production software.
  • Strong programming experience in Python and/or TypeScript.
  • Experience building platform or infrastructure systems that other engineers depend on, such as CLIs, runtimes, or internal platforms.
  • Experience shipping at least one LLM-powered product to real users.
  • Daily, heavy use of agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or equivalents.
  • Strong opinions and practical experience using AI coding tools effectively.
  • Experience deploying and operating containerized services in production.
  • Understanding of network isolation, infrastructure-as-code, secrets management, and least-privilege IAM.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Side projects demonstrating curiosity and initiative.
  • Systems thinking across tokens, latency, failure modes, and user outcomes.
