Description

  • Provide leadership and support to the maintenance team at the assigned location.
  • Oversee day-to-day maintenance and preventative maintenance functions, including budget oversight, inventory control, procurement, customer service, and safety training.
  • Champion Corvias’ culture, mission, vision, and values while promoting a strong customer service focus.
  • Lead recruitment, retention, supervision, and performance feedback for a diverse maintenance team.
  • Organize team activities and allocate resources to keep operations productive and aligned with business goals.
  • Assist in developing the annual maintenance operating budget and manage department expenditures within approved limits.
  • Analyze financial and maintenance operations reports and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure consistency in policies and procedures across building systems, amenities, and inventory management.
  • Monitor compliance with local, municipal, and state health, safety, and building code regulations for staff and vendors.
  • Evaluate maintenance contract proposals, oversee work safety programs, order supplies, manage inventory, and ensure equipment and vehicles remain safe and operational.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college courses or technical school training strongly preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in residential property management with an emphasis on facility management and maintenance.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Proven competency in 4+ trades, including plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, masonry, and building construction.
  • HVAC, OSHA, EPA compliance, or trade skills/licenses are a strong plus.
  • Certification as a Universal or Type I/Type II technician from an EPA-approved certification program preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of full-cycle maintenance, including preventative, predictive, planned, and make-ready programs.
  • Ability to create scope of work for projects and oversee capital projects up to $10,000.
  • Strong organizational, planning, budgeting, financial analysis, and expense control skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Computer proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications; familiarity with Entrata or similar property management software is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license required with the ability to drive company vehicles.
