Description

  • Serve as a hands-on leader overseeing all aspects of inventory and warehouse management at an assigned location.
  • Prepare purchase orders, audit inventory, unload and stock materials, organize the warehouse, and ensure safety and cleaning protocols are followed.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels for maintenance work orders and turnovers, and anticipate supply needs to prevent shortages.
  • Work with the Facility Director to evaluate warehousing strategies and improve support for maintenance teams.
  • Collaborate with other installation warehouses to share best practices and improve inventory and warehouse optimization.
  • Update property management software for inventory control and asset distribution.
  • Prepare, review, and reconcile scheduled and ad hoc reports, inventory discrepancies, invoices, budget spend, and variances.
  • Coordinate timely repair of installation equipment to keep it fully operational.
  • Lead recruitment, retention, supervision, and performance feedback for a diverse team of inventory professionals.
  • Train, coach, and mentor team members on company culture, safety, business goals, and customer service.
  • Own and execute special projects as directed by local Property Management leadership.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 6+ years of experience in facilities or warehouse inventory management.
  • 1+ year of supervisory or coordinating experience.
  • Knowledge of handling and disposing of hazardous materials and waste products such as refrigerants, ballasts, batteries, and fluorescents.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and inventory planning and forecasting methods.
  • Ability to organize individual and team activities to meet or exceed business goals.
  • Ability to multitask with accuracy and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to make timely decisions considering facts, goals, constraints, financial impact, and risks.
  • Computer proficiency, including advanced knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and property management software.
  • Must provide and maintain basic hand and power tools related to work requirements.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle are required.
