Description

  • Provide synchronous and asynchronous learner support in German and English during virtual training sessions.
  • Monitor Slack channels for learner questions and respond promptly, including within 24 hours on non-live days.
  • Facilitate breakout rooms and help keep live sessions moving if the lead instructor encounters technical issues.
  • Check in with learners after live sessions to clarify content and address concerns.
  • Hold up to six individual office hours via Zoom to provide additional learner support.
  • Grade learner exercises and project submissions within seven days of submission.
  • Review upcoming lab, project, and case materials to prepare for learner questions.
  • Submit weekly write-ups summarizing accomplishments, challenges, and learner insights.
  • Share relevant links and foster discussion in designated Slack channels.
  • Attend mandatory onboarding, weekly staff meetings, and other scheduled meetings with active participation.

Requirements

  • Professional fluency in both German and English.
  • 1–2 years of professional experience performing or leading labeling or QA workflows across text, image/video, and speech/audio.
  • Solid foundational understanding of machine learning principles, generative AI, and the data annotation lifecycle.
  • Active AWS Certified AI Practitioner certification.
  • Strong writing skills for guiding learners on structured rationales for AI data labeling tasks.
  • Ability to use Excel or Google Sheets to track learner progress and identify technical errors.
  • Experience providing academic or technical support as a teaching assistant, tutor, or peer mentor in a virtual setting.
  • Experience working with remote teams and using Slack and Zoom.
  • Ability to provide constructive, empathetic, and timely feedback on technical assignments.
  • Data annotation, labeling, or quality control experience is highly preferred.
