Description

  • Design, build, and ship agentic workflows across research, coding, conversational, reasoning, scheduling, analytics, and workflow automation use cases.
  • Own the end-to-end agent lifecycle from data ingestion and reasoning through action taking, evaluation, and monitoring.
  • Build multi-step agents with autonomous planning, context tracking, memory, tool use, and API orchestration.
  • Architect solutions using modern agent frameworks and orchestration approaches, including LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI Assistants, MCP, and custom state machines.
  • Build retrieval pipelines, vector embeddings, caching layers, and knowledge grounding systems to support RAG-based applications.
  • Deploy agents as microservices with observability, evaluation, guardrails, and fallback mechanisms.
  • Optimize inference cost, latency, accuracy, and task-completion rates.
  • Create reusable frameworks and libraries to accelerate future agent development.
  • Design and develop new software and enhance existing software for client systems and Cority’s base software.
  • Communicate with Product Owners, review designs and prototypes, participate in code reviews, and mentor junior developers.

Requirements

  • University degree in computer science or a related program.
  • 8+ years of experience as a developer.
  • 2+ years of experience as an AI developer.
  • Candidates must have built and deployed at least two AI agents in production in the past 12 months.
  • Strong understanding of the software development process and lifecycle.
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodology.
  • Experience with LLMs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Llama, or DeepSeek.
  • Experience with agent frameworks such as LangChain, OpenAI Agent SDK, Microsoft Agent Framework, custom orchestration, or state machines.
  • Experience with retrieval systems, including RAG, embeddings, and vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, or PGVector.
  • Experience with MCP servers or integrating MCP tools, structured function-calling workflows, .NET Core, Node, Python, .NET Framework, Entity Framework/Dapper, Web APIs, microservices, relational databases such as Postgres or SQL Server, message queues such as SQS, Google Queues, RabbitMQ, or Kafka, and CI/CD.
  • Nice to have experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, AWS or Azure, multi-tenancy, machine learning, and Docker.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work across complex and rapidly changing technical environments.
  • Experience working with remote teams.
  • Previous experience in occupational health, environment, ergonomics, or safety is an asset.
