Description

  • Provide expert-level technical support for ControlUp products.
  • Analyze, diagnose, and debug complex customer issues.
  • Create and implement patches, fixes, and diagnostic tools.
  • Own escalations and drive them through to resolution.
  • Act as a technical focal point with internal teams.
  • Coordinate with engineers across product components to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Acquire broad and in-depth knowledge of the product suite.
  • Create and improve documentation that helps support engineers resolve cases.
  • Collaborate across teams to push for solutions and share technical knowledge.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of hands-on full-stack experience with strong backend skills.
  • Experience working in multi-threaded environments at scale.
  • Experience with .NET Web services, WCF, and IIS.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies.
  • Self-driven, proactive, accountable, reliable, and a team player.
  • Development experience with Microsoft SQL and T-SQL is preferred.
  • Customer support experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Insights and Splunk is preferred.
  • Experience with Windows internals, including Win32 API, is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft environments such as Windows Server, NTFS, Active Directory, Exchange, LDAP, IIS, GPO, and Azure is preferred.
  • Hands-on hypervisor experience is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of data structures, design patterns, and algorithms is preferred.
  • Experience with large-scale software projects is preferred.
