Description

  • Configure, develop, and enhance the D365 CE suite, including plugins, extensions, customisations, and integrations.
  • Work with business teams to understand requirements, create user stories in DevOps or ITSM, and define the product backlog.
  • Develop functional designs, test plans, and test scripts where applicable.
  • Build proof-of-concept solutions using Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform capabilities.
  • Advise customers on best practices for D365 CE and Power Platform processes, user interface, and architecture.
  • Implement product best practices aligned with Microsoft Dynamics standards and supported configurations.
  • Support regression testing, user acceptance testing, and training activities.
  • Debug issues, resolve tickets, and troubleshoot bugs in line with internal service levels and procedures.
  • Collaborate with business SMEs to share knowledge, answer questions, and help build a knowledge base.
  • Assist with data migration and facilitation of data sets for ETL activities.
  • Demonstrate D365 CE capabilities to the business and promote opportunities for wider integration and strategic value.
  • Work closely with the Enterprise Applications Delivery Manager and partner teams where additional engagement is required.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE.
  • Strong understanding of Customer Services and its relationship with Sales.
  • Ability to work in an Agile or sprint-based environment.
  • Strong communication skills for non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work strategically as well as tactically and operationally.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly.
  • Creative and innovative mindset with a focus on improving ways of working.
  • Sound decision-making skills and the ability to act decisively.
  • Results-oriented approach with a track record of delivering to objectives and plans.
  • Ability to plan and organise workload, prioritise tasks, and influence others.
  • Understanding of cost, scope, and margin considerations in project delivery.
  • Familiarity with new and emerging technology trends.
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform, and configuration-first approaches (preferred).
