Description

  • Conduct privilege and responsiveness review of documents in eDiscovery matters.
  • Perform document redactions and apply project-specific confidentiality controls.
  • Execute conceptual searching and both first- and second-level review workflows.
  • Use electronic document review platforms (e.g., Relativity, Concordance, ViewPoint) to tag, code, and produce documents.
  • Support related tasks such as legal research, expert testimony assistance, and foreign-language translation when needed.
  • Collaborate with project managers, programmers, engineers, reviewers, and analysts as integrated members of the project team.
  • Follow project-specific workflows, quality standards, and timelines, including potential nonstandard business hours.

Requirements

  • Fluency in Portuguese.
  • Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, in good standing.
  • Familiarity with document review workflows (e.g., privilege review, responsiveness review, redactions, conceptual searching, first- and second-review).
  • Experience with electronic document review technology (examples: Relativity, Concordance, ViewPoint).
  • Availability to work on a project-by-project basis with variable location and hours.
  • Preferred: experience as a member of a document review team.
  • Preferred: familiarity with Relativity 9.0 or higher.
  • Preferred: 2+ years of legal support experience.

Benefits
