Description

  • Conduct privilege and responsiveness document review for litigation and investigations.
  • Perform redactions and maintain redaction workflows and logs.
  • Perform conceptual searching and both first- and second-level document reviews.
  • Use electronic document review platforms to review, tag, and organize documents.
  • Prepare and maintain privilege logs and documentation related to review decisions.
  • Assist with expert testimony, legal research, and foreign language (Portuguese) translation when required.
  • Collaborate with project managers, programmers, engineers, reviewers, and analysts to meet project objectives and improve review efficiencies.

Requirements

  • Fluency in Portuguese (verbal and written).
  • Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction with status in good standing.
  • Familiarity with document review workflows such as privilege/responsiveness review, redactions, conceptual searching, and first/second review.
  • Experience with electronic document review technology (examples: Relativity, Concordance, ViewPoint).
  • Preferred: familiarity with Relativity 9.0 or higher.
  • Preferred: experience as a member of a document review team.
  • Preferred: 2+ years of legal support experience.
  • Willingness to work on a contract, project-by-project basis with location and hours determined per project.
