Description

  • Perform privilege and responsiveness review of documents for eDiscovery matters.
  • Conduct redactions and apply document-level coding judgments.
  • Perform first- and second-level (quality control) document reviews and conceptual searching.
  • Use electronic document review platforms (e.g., Relativity, Concordance, ViewPoint) to review, tag, and produce documents.
  • Translate and review French-language documents and flag language-specific issues for the team.
  • Collaborate with project managers, reviewers, programmers, and analysts to meet project workflows and timelines.
  • Assist with legal research and support for expert testimony as requested by project teams.
  • Identify and escalate privilege issues and other substantive matters according to project protocols.
  • Contribute to process improvement and efficiency initiatives within document review workflows.

Requirements

  • Fluency in French.
  • Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and status in good standing.
  • Familiarity with document review workflows (privilege/responsiveness review, redactions, conceptual searching, first/second review).
  • Experience with electronic document review technology (examples: Relativity, Concordance, ViewPoint).
  • Preferred: familiarity with Relativity 9.0 or higher.
  • Preferred: experience as a member of a document review team.
  • Preferred: 2+ years of legal support experience.
  • Ability to work on a project-by-project basis with location and hours established per project (including potential for remote work and nonstandard hours).
  • Willingness to work under contract and follow project-specific protocols and timelines.
