Description

  • Develop and execute the product strategy for the Searchandizing workflow to address customer needs and support company goals.
  • Own the end-to-end Searchandizing experience, from intent definition and goal setup through campaign launch, performance review, and iteration.
  • Translate e-commerce merchandisers’ business needs into intuitive product solutions that support launches, inventory management, and onsite shopping experiences.
  • Build trust with customers by understanding their workflows, identifying key users, and learning what drives success for their teams.
  • Define and communicate a holistic vision for merchandising tools such as merch rules, facet controls, synonyms, and redirects.
  • Collaborate with other product teams to create a coherent dashboard experience and improve the balance between manual curation and algorithmic optimization.
  • Lead and scale a cross-functional team of engineers and designers across the full product lifecycle, including discovery, prototyping, implementation, launch, enablement, and iteration.
  • Set team metrics, goals, roadmap priorities, and expectations, and communicate progress to customers, GTM teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and strengthen product differentiation for merchandising controls.

Requirements

  • Track record of redesigning fragmented toolsets into a single, guided workflow.
  • Strong user experience advocacy with the ability to recognize when a feature is truly intuitive and fits into the user's everyday process.
  • Ability to identify root causes behind customer requests and translate them into better product solutions.
  • Focus on ROI and ability to measure and demonstrate the net revenue impact of product decisions.
  • Empathy for customers and comfort guiding them toward data-driven decisions.
  • Experience motivating cross-functional teams by advocating for customer needs, managing technical complexity, and delegating responsibility.
  • Ability to manage commitments and expectations across numerous internal and external stakeholders while maintaining strategic focus.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment with evolving processes.
  • Data-informed decision-making with the ability to act under uncertainty.
  • Experience working remotely and in agile software development with empowered cross-functional teams.
