Description

  • Set goals and objectives for team members to achieve operational results.
  • Lead and prioritize the team’s daily activities.
  • Manage, mentor, and coach team members to build a collaborative and dynamic team.
  • Coordinate cross-functional communication to align on initiatives and strategies that improve efficiency.
  • Define and drive IT quality assurance practices and procedures.
  • Review and analyze discrepancies in service or performance and recommend product or service updates.
  • Oversee test schedules and testing strategies in alignment with project scope and delivery dates.
  • Review software documentation for technical accuracy, compliance, completeness, and risk mitigation.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations on software usability and functionality.
  • Serve as an advanced escalation point for complex software reproduction, debugging, and issue isolation.

Requirements

  • Experience managing experienced professionals with a high degree of autonomy in their work.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders outside of the immediate team regarding policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to contribute to policy and strategy implementation for short-term results.
  • Experience developing standards, methods, or procedures to determine product quality or release readiness.
  • Ability to identify deviations from standards and recommend modifications to ensure compliance.
  • Experience serving as an escalation point for complex software issues involving reproduction, debugging, and isolation.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to work within a role where other duties may be assigned as needed.
