Description

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive regional threat research.
  • Identify, investigate, analyze, and manage global threats to executive staff and employees.
  • Produce actionable threat analysis products to inform cross-functional teams, executive protection, and enterprise security operations.
  • Guide open-source intelligence analysts using law enforcement databases, social media, and deep/dark web sources.
  • Manage relationships with local law enforcement and other investigative, research, intelligence groups, and vendors.
  • Work closely with the client’s customer service team on threat-related matters.
  • Maintain global situational awareness of potential and developing threats and prepare impact analyses.
  • Lead regional cross-functional program syncs to improve threat capabilities.
  • Assist in program development, including workflow creation, threat methodology research, and planning products.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support immediate and collaborative incident management.

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom without visa sponsorship.
  • Ability to work remotely from the United Kingdom.
  • Up to 10% travel required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in threat analysis, ideally behavioral threat assessment and threat management.
  • Experience supporting a comprehensive threat management program, including investigations, intelligence collection, analysis, and case management.
  • Extensive experience using open-source research, criminal background information, and other online investigative techniques.
  • Current member of, or ability to become a member of, a professional threat assessment organization such as ATAP.
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace applications and Mac OS.
  • Certified Threat Manager (CTM) certification, or eligibility to sit for the CTM exam under ATAP standards, preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, with years of experience substituting for education.
  • International experience or having lived abroad is preferred.
  • Regional expertise in Latin America, Asia, Europe, or the Middle East is preferred.
  • Language skills are preferred.
  • Experience with data analysis, planning and policy drafting, training and exercises, or incident command is preferred.
