Description

  • Provide daily leadership, planning, guidance, and mentoring to the North American construction team.
  • Serve as the liaison between field teams and Cologix leadership.
  • Lead Directors, Project Managers, and third-party consultants across North America.
  • Contribute to site evaluations and make recommendations for site selection.
  • Lead multiple construction teams delivering greenfield data center deployments, modular construction projects, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Oversee expansion and renovation projects across the assigned region.
  • Partner with predevelopment and design teams to create master development programs and site plans.
  • Oversee design, construction, commissioning services, and project cost estimates to meet time, budget, and quality targets.
  • Develop deployment plans and communicate cost, schedule, and project details to internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on new and existing buildouts and contribute to sales pursuit efforts.
  • Resolve project issues, scheduling challenges, and other delivery risks.
  • Improve project management processes and protocols while supporting and directing direct reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in mission critical facilities.
  • Experience in the REIT and/or data center industry.
  • Extensive experience managing MEP trades.
  • Proven leadership skills with a strong track record of timely project delivery, project management, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong practical engineering knowledge.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to lead through influence, plan effectively, and act as a proactive partner.
  • Ability to solve problems at both tactical and functional levels.
  • Willingness to travel as needed based on current projects.
  • Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship or transfer, including CPT/OPT, is available.
