Description

  • Lead low-voltage projects for data centers from design through construction completion.
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets with the Design and Construction Team, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Assist with construction and development estimates, project budgets, and unit cost reports for low-voltage systems.
  • Supervise field technicians, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure quality installation and compliance with drawings, codes, and specifications.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee procurement of low-voltage materials and equipment to support schedule and budget goals.
  • Conduct site surveys and review drawings, schematics, and technical specifications to plan and execute work accurately.
  • Track project progress and prepare status reports and management updates.
  • Manage change orders, RFIs, project documentation, as-builts, closeout documents, and substantial completion letters.
  • Coordinate with commissioning teams to integrate low-voltage systems and support project turnover and closeout.
  • Develop and manage BAS and security schedule activities through commissioning.
  • Champion jobsite safety and mitigate project risks through proactive planning and problem-solving.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, telecommunications, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of project management experience in low-voltage systems or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the mission-critical or data center industry.
  • Advanced knowledge of low-voltage systems, including BAS, structured cabling, access control, CCTV, and related infrastructure.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and analyze complex drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with project management software such as Procore or MS Project, Microsoft Office Suite, and cloud-based commissioning platforms.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage and mentor field technicians, subcontractors, and project teams.
  • Willingness to travel domestically as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and not require visa sponsorship or transfer, including CPT/OPT.
