Description

  • Lead day-to-day MEP construction activities across multiple data center projects to meet schedule, budget, and quality goals.
  • Manage and mentor external MEP project managers, superintendents, and internal resources.
  • Coordinate supply chain support for owner-furnished equipment, procurement, and timely delivery.
  • Enforce jobsite safety plans, company policies, and applicable safety regulations as the top priority.
  • Identify expedited permitting opportunities and maintain relationships with local jurisdictions and experts.
  • Collaborate with design and construction teams to develop and maintain project schedules and milestones.
  • Prepare estimates, project budgets, and unit cost reports for MEP equipment and systems.
  • Organize and lead pre-award and pre-construction MEP meetings and support value engineering and contract scope negotiation.
  • Review plans and specifications for completeness and oversee MEP subcontractor buyout, submittals, and procurement.
  • Monitor site performance for cost, safety, quality, and schedule, and support change orders, pay requests, cost tracking, and closeout.
  • Coordinate with commissioning teams and manage MEP subcontractors through L2-L5 commissioning and final turnover.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of construction project management experience, including at least 2 years in the data center industry.
  • Proven leadership managing complex, large-scale MEP construction scopes of work.
  • Experience mentoring and developing project teams.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with project management software such as CxAlloy, Procore, or MS Project, Microsoft Office Suite, cloud-based commissioning platforms, and financial management tools.
  • Deep understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction practices.
  • Willingness to travel domestically in the U.S. and Canada.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and Canada, with no visa sponsorship available, including CPT/OPT.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
