Description

Own all testing activities at the epic level throughout the software development lifecycle.
Work independently within an embedded sprint team to ensure adequate test coverage.
Execute QA tasks based on software specifications to verify product quality.
Perform release testing, including regression, functional, non-functional, and user acceptance testing.
Develop and maintain test plans, test suites, test documentation, and test automation frameworks.
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver products and features on time.
Handle and triage defects during a scheduled week-long rotation, including replication, root cause investigation, and status communication.
Document defects and issues, escalate them according to the defect resolution process, and communicate delivery status to technical leads.
Stay current on software testing trends and share knowledge to improve team productivity.
Mentor interns and junior staff and contribute to communities, user groups, or open-source projects.

Requirements

1-3 years of professional experience in software testing for web and mobile applications in Agile teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or relevant professional-level certifications.
Experience using CoinGecko products and some understanding of finance, blockchain, or cryptocurrencies.
Strong knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies and advanced testing techniques such as BVA and equivalence partitioning.
Ability to review technical documents and create comprehensive test plans early in the development phase.
Strong written communication skills for documenting work clearly and accurately.
Experience working collaboratively with others toward shared goals.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to estimate the time and complexity of scoped work reliably.
Nice to have: experience writing test automation code in Java or Python.
Nice to have: keen interest in decentralized technologies and their applications, including cryptocurrencies.
Must be based in Malaysia.
