Description

  • Design and develop frontend features for GeckoTerminal.
  • Support execution of the full software development lifecycle according to the department’s strategy.
  • Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code and libraries.
  • Push code to production and help ensure smooth releases.
  • Participate in code reviews and suggest improvements to team practices.
  • Develop documentation and maintain a knowledge base for collaborators.
  • Assist with testing, debugging, defect replication, and issue resolution.
  • Stay current on web development trends and share knowledge with the team.
  • Work collaboratively with engineering, product managers, and designers to ship features on time.
  • Handle ad hoc tasks as required by the company.

Requirements

  • Relevant prior experience developing usable, fully featured web applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or similar software development experience.
  • Strong interest in learning about blockchain and cryptocurrency products.
  • Understanding of blockchain concepts such as on-chain data, token standards like ERC-20, or DeFi protocols.
  • Experience building or contributing to crypto products is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with frontend technologies such as React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS.
  • Familiarity with backend technologies such as databases, APIs, and server-side frameworks like Ruby on Rails.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with a team toward shared goals.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision after 3 months.
  • Nice to have: prior experience with Ruby, Rails, JavaScript, Postgres, and cloud services.
