Description

  • Set HR vision, objectives (OKRs) and a long-term roadmap in close collaboration with C-level leadership to align HR strategy with business goals.
  • Own end-to-end hiring for technology and business functions across all seniority levels, including sourcing, selection, and employer branding activities.
  • Champion employer branding through public speaking and other outreach to attract talent.
  • Guide and coach the HR team to nurture company culture, design company-wide engagement activities, gather employee feedback, and implement solutions.
  • Design and implement performance management programs, including consistent review processes, scoring/evaluation criteria, goal setting, and regular feedback.
  • Strategize and manage total rewards including compensation, allowances, commissions, bonuses, increments, virtual stock options, employee recognition, and benchmarking analysis.
  • Develop and maintain organization design processes: job descriptions, role definitions, hierarchies, and reporting lines, and recommend structural improvements.
  • Partner with leadership on talent management and succession planning to attract, retain, and develop future leaders.
  • Define and deliver learning & development and leadership development programs aligned to business objectives.
  • Oversee employee relations, HR operations (onboarding, appraisals, compliance, policy, exits), quarterly planning, and ad hoc HR initiatives while ensuring legal compliance.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of HR experience with a proven track record of planning and executing long-term HR strategy and roadmaps.
  • Proven experience leading a HR organization and coaching/managing HR teams to improve capability and performance.
  • Bachelor’s degree (any field).
  • Solid HR generalist knowledge with deep expertise across multiple HR pillars (talent acquisition, comp & benefits, L&D, employee relations, org design, performance).
  • Comfort with HR platforms (ATS, HRIS) and ability to quickly learn internal systems and industry-specific knowledge (blockchain/cryptocurrency and business operations).
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset with the ability to use data to solve problems and present structured, data-informed narratives.
  • Operational excellence and high attention to accuracy and quality, with the ability to instill similar standards in the team.
  • Strong project management skills to plan, manage multiple projects, assess risks/costs/timelines, and ensure deliverables are met.
  • Demonstrated leadership and coaching ability as the primary coach of managers, with strong people skills and communication across levels.
  • High integrity handling sensitive and private data, a growth mindset, and enthusiasm for blockchain/Web3 topics.

  • Salary range: RM35,014 - RM38,515.
  • Remote work flexibility with optional office space in 1Powerhouse (Malaysia) and WeWork (Singapore).

  • Monthly meal allowance of RM600 or SGD400.
