Description

  • Design, build, and ship core APIs and backend services for CDP Payments customers.
  • Own end-to-end delivery of high-impact payment features and infrastructure.
  • Integrate new payment rails such as Onchain Payments, ACH, and Wire.
  • Build stablecoin bank account infrastructure and cross-border payment flows.
  • Work on systems that convert fiat to stablecoins and back in seconds.
  • Lead cross-functional projects with Money Movement, CDP Foundations, and other Platform teams.
  • Develop production code that supports real money movement for major financial institutions.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in software engineering.
  • Strong engineering skills for building reliable backend services that handle real-world edge cases.
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and event-driven patterns.
  • Experience designing and integrating cleanly with internal and third-party services.
  • Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with designers and product managers.
  • Customer-obsessed mindset with a focus on shipping products that improve customer experience.
  • Scrappy self-starter mentality with willingness to push through friction.
  • Passion for developer tooling and for onchain/Web3 technologies, especially Ethereum and other EVM-compatible chains.
  • Ability to responsibly use generative AI tools and copilots in daily workflows and apply human-in-the-loop practices.
  • Preferred: experience at a company that grew rapidly from startup to mid-size.
  • Preferred: experience building on blockchain technology such as Bitcoin or Ethereum.
  • Preferred: experience decomposing a large monolith into microservices.
  • Preferred: experience building financial, high-reliability, or security systems.

Benefits

  • Annual base salary range of $186,065 to $218,900 USD, depending on location.
  • Total compensation may also include equity and bonus eligibility.
  • Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 401(k) benefits are included.
  • Remote-first flexibility with required in-person participation for offsites and team/company gatherings throughout the year.
