Description

  • Build and maintain the Regulatory Data Mart as the single source of truth for international regulatory reporting.
  • Design and build data models that provide the entity-level granularity regulators require.
  • Develop and maintain data quality checks, monitoring, data contracts, and reconciliation against prior submissions.
  • Write specifications and definitions that AI tools can use to generate pipelines and answer regulatory questions accurately.
  • Standardize regulatory metrics, entity-specific nuances, and historical reporting decisions into durable, machine-readable formats.
  • Partner with Compliance, Legal, Business Operations, and upstream Engineering to translate requirements into data models and accurate source data.
  • Shift from manual regulatory data requests toward automated, self-serve reporting solutions that reduce ongoing effort.
  • Maintain structured documentation of business logic optimized for AI agent consumption and end-to-end traceability.
  • Ensure regulatory reporting SLAs are met and data remains accurate and compliant across international markets.

Requirements

  • Strong analytics engineering fundamentals, including advanced SQL, Python, data modeling, pipeline development, and modern warehouse architecture.
  • Experience with star and snowflake modeling, OBTs, and SCDs.
  • Experience with dbt and Airflow.
  • Experience with Snowflake and Databricks.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively drive work forward without waiting for direction.
  • Ability to think in systems and build processes that eliminate manual work.
  • Ability to learn quickly in unfamiliar regulatory or data domains and turn tribal knowledge into durable infrastructure.
  • Strong focus on accuracy, rigor, and data trust, especially in regulated environments.
  • Comfort treating AI tools as a collaborator and designing data and documentation for machine reasoning.
  • Preferred: experience building data infrastructure for compliance or regulatory reporting.

Benefits

  • Annual base salary range of £100,620 to £111,800 GBP.
  • Total compensation may include equity.
