Description

  • Design and build data models that support regulatory reporting at the entity level.
  • Build and maintain data quality checks, monitoring, data contracts, and reconciliation processes.
  • Write specifications and definitions that AI tools use to generate pipelines and answer regulatory questions accurately.
  • Standardize regulatory metric definitions, entity-specific nuances, and historical reporting decisions into durable machine-readable formats.
  • Partner with Compliance, Legal, Business Operations, and upstream Engineering to translate regulatory requirements into trusted data models and source data.
  • Develop automated, self-serve reporting solutions that reduce manual data pulls and recurring reporting work.
  • Maintain clear, structured documentation of business logic optimized for AI agent consumption and end-to-end data traceability.
  • Own end-to-end data quality for the Regulatory Data Mart used as the single source of truth for international regulatory reporting.

Requirements

  • Advanced SQL and Python experience.
  • Experience with data modeling, including star/snowflake schemas, OBTs, and SCDs.
  • Experience with pipeline development tools such as dbt and Airflow.
  • Experience with modern warehouse architecture such as Snowflake and Databricks.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively drive work without waiting for direction.
  • Strong systems thinking and the ability to turn manual processes into durable infrastructure.
  • Ability to learn quickly in unfamiliar regulatory or domain-heavy environments.
  • High attention to accuracy and rigor in data work, especially for compliance or reporting use cases.
  • Comfort working with AI-assisted workflows and evaluating whether AI output is correct.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners such as Compliance, Legal, Business Operations, and Engineering.
