Description

  • Design and implement monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and APM instrumentation with development teams.
  • Lead the configuration and optimization of APM solutions.
  • Apply observability practices using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, New Relic, and Log Analytics (KQL).
  • Implement code-level instrumentation, distributed tracing, and structured logging.
  • Define SLIs, SLOs, and alerting strategies based on latency, errors, traffic, and resource saturation.
  • Conduct production readiness reviews and identify operational risks and observability gaps.
  • Analyze incidents and implement post-incident monitoring improvements.
  • Partner with engineering teams to ensure applications are reliable, scalable, and production-ready.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Cloud Operations, or related roles.
  • Strong experience operating applications in Microsoft Azure IaaS environments.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience with DBT, Databricks, and SQL.
  • Experience with application observability, monitoring, reliability engineering, and APM platforms such as Application Insights or New Relic.
  • Experience designing dashboards with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics (KQL).
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions CI/CD environments.
  • Understanding of cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.
  • Experience with incident analysis, root cause investigation, and proactive problem prevention.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • PowerShell or Bash scripting, cloud resilience patterns, production readiness, and enterprise-scale reliability experience preferred.
  • Must be a legal resident of Peru, Colombia, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Mexico, or Brazil.
