Description

  • Develop and maintain WPF desktop applications using a strict MVVM architecture.
  • Design reusable Views, ViewModels, and DataTemplates.
  • Build interactive 3D viewports/viewers with rotate, scroll, zoom, and zoom-out functionality.
  • Create state-driven user interfaces for complex engineering workflows.
  • Integrate the UI with .NET backend services and external systems.
  • Implement correct command behavior, including enable/disable states and async execution.
  • Improve the performance, responsiveness, and consistency of the UI layer.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to follow the product design language.
  • Work closely with engineers on domain-specific workflow requirements.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional front-end development experience.
  • Desktop application development experience is required.
  • Experience with WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) is required.
  • Strong C# proficiency is required.
  • Solid experience with C# and .NET is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of WPF concepts such as bindings, styles, templates, and resources is preferred.
  • Practical experience with MVVM, such as CommunityToolkit.Mvvm or similar, is preferred.
  • Experience with dependency injection and application composition, such as Microsoft.Extensions.Hosting, is preferred.
  • Experience with data-driven UIs and complex state management is preferred.
  • Ability to work asynchronously with a globally distributed remote team.
  • Reliable availability for a full 8-hour workday within the 5:00 AM–5:00 PM EST window.
  • Full professional fluency in English for frequent written and verbal collaboration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with ASP.NET Core, Blazor, or other web UI technologies is preferred.
  • Experience with engineering, CAD, or BIM-related software is preferred.
  • Experience working with 3D data or visualization, such as viewports, geometry, or CAD-like systems, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with performance-sensitive desktop applications is preferred.
  • Interest in structural or architectural workflows is preferred.
