Description

  • Build and maintain long-term technical relationships with key strategic accounts.
  • Lead technical pre-sales efforts to define short- and long-term solution architectures for customer needs.
  • Identify and drive strategic conversations with senior stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer and influence Product Management and the product roadmap.
  • Create professional technical content such as white papers, reference architectures, blog posts, and demo proof-of-concept labs.
  • Represent and evangelize Cloudflare at developer, community, technology, cybersecurity, and industry events.
  • Apply vertical/domain expertise to advise customers on best practices.
  • Scale technical knowledge and expertise across the wider Pre-Sales Solution Engineering organization.
  • Support hands-on configuration and proof-of-concept work when needed.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience engaging senior leaders and executives on network and security transformation.
  • Strong understanding of customer network and application architectures.
  • Detailed understanding of user-to-application workflows, including hybrid architectures with Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • Knowledge of Secure Web Gateway, CASB, DLP, DNS, and DNS over HTTPS.
  • Knowledge of identity and authentication technologies such as IdP, SAML, and OTP.
  • Experience with SaaS application integration and tenant controls.
  • Understanding of VPN and remote access challenges.
  • Familiarity with SIEM and log analytics platforms.
  • Knowledge of routing, subnetting, split tunnels, SD-WAN, and local internet breakout.
  • Awareness of end-user and application security risks such as DDoS, malware, phishing, and viruses.
  • Knowledge of the competitive market for CDN, WAF, remote access, next-generation firewall, CASB, DDoS mitigation, SD-WAN, and secure gateway solutions.
  • Ideally, knowledge of Cloudflare ZTNA solutions such as Teams, Access, Gateway, and Browser Isolation.
  • Ability to jump in with hands-on configuration when needed.
