Description

  • Provide case-initiated consultative support for strategic users, customers, and prospects, handling ~50% of the role's workload.
  • Perform TAM functions (~50% of workload) including onboarding coordination, project guidance, escalations, communications, documentation, roadmap input, and meeting leadership.
  • Work with Sales-identified enterprise customers on onboarding, production launches, and proofs-of-concept (POCs).
  • Provide architectural, technical, and migration guidance and assistance for customer deployments.
  • Own and oversee L3 Support Cases and escalations, collaborating closely with L1/L2 support teams.
  • Lead projects, escalations, and cross-functional meetings to drive customer success and resolution.
  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Sales to influence roadmap and account plans.
  • Develop and maintain documentation: Knowledge Base articles, ClickHouse Learning materials, reference architectures, and QA artifacts.
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and mentoring new team members.
  • Be available for scheduled support and up to ~35% regional onsite travel to deliver high-quality support in a global 24x7 environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Technical Account Management, Professional Services, Senior Support, and/or Project Management roles.
  • 5+ years of experience implementing, operating, and/or supporting scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed DBMS.
  • Technical breadth and depth across DBMS, OLAP, Cloud/SaaS platforms, distributed systems, Linux/Unix, Kubernetes, system or network administration, and big data.
  • Experience leading and shipping large-scope technical projects in collaboration with multiple experienced engineers.
  • Expertise with a public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and their infrastructure-as-a-service offerings (e.g., EC2).
  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work in customer-facing roles and closely with Support, Engineering, and Sales teams.
  • Consulting, support, and project management background with a teamwork and customer-centric mindset.
  • Willingness to be remote-based in Australia or Singapore and open to regional travel (estimated up to 35%).
  • Ability to operate in a global, distributed, and sometimes 24x7 support environment.
  • Self-driven, curious, and eager to continuously learn and grow; empathetic and globally engaged approach to problem solving.
