Description

  • Build and enhance test automation frameworks and automated test cases.
  • Validate new features and support smooth production releases.
  • Test cross-functional implementations across internal teams.
  • Implement testing strategies and automation for large, complex distributed systems.
  • Evaluate new ClickHouse functionality in each release and identify codebase improvements.
  • Engineer and improve existing testing infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of SQL.
  • Prior experience in a similar SDET, Release Engineering, or QA role for a classical database or distributed system.
  • Hands-on coding experience with Python.
  • Ability to read C++ code for validation.
  • Working knowledge of Git, Linux, and shell scripting.
  • Experience with both manual testing and automation testing.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, including with remote teams.
  • Ability to learn complex technology quickly in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within and across engineering teams.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and solid production debugging skills.
