Description

  • Define and maintain methodologies for episode triggers, provider attribution, cost standardization, and quality measures.
  • Develop derived data points from initial logic through QA, testing, and production release.
  • Manage Clarify’s reference data library, including provider affiliations, healthcare codesets, mappings, and geographic data.
  • Validate metrics using reconciliation SQL, version comparisons, impact analyses, baselines, and completeness thresholds.
  • Run customer data refresh and delivery processes, investigate test failures, and coordinate root-cause resolution with engineering.
  • Scope requests from product, clinical informatics, and customer teams; write specifications and acceptance criteria; and follow work through release.
  • Resolve cross-team methodology decisions involving attribution, referral definitions, reference data, quality, runtime, and scope.
  • Review AI-generated data sourcing, specifications, and triage outputs against source data and required quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, technical, or health-related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, healthcare analytics, or a comparable data-intensive role.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including querying large datasets, defining metric grain, building metrics from raw records, and defending results.
  • Experience with AWS and industry-leading AI models, particularly for code development.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare data such as claims, provider, or network data and the meaning of claim codes.
  • Experience working with production data pipelines, scheduled table refreshes, QA processes, and downstream data consumers.
  • Strong written communication skills for specifications, acceptance criteria, and decision records.
  • Ownership, initiative, comfort with ambiguity, and a high standard for data accuracy.
  • Preferred: expertise in episode grouping, risk adjustment, quality measurement, provider/network reference data, CMS or NCQA measures, value sets, HL7, FHIR, or X12.
  • Preferred: BI/dashboarding, recurring data quality checks, and Python or PySpark experience.
