Description

  • Engage business stakeholders to understand needs and translate requirements into technical specifications.
  • Own data products from ingestion and modeling through transformation, validation, delivery, and monitoring.
  • Design data models and transformation layers that apply consistent business rules and support dashboards and AI applications.
  • Build and maintain ingestion pipelines from multiple sources using SQL and Python.
  • Implement automated testing, validation, and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Prepare structured data, data dictionaries, and models for AI and machine learning teams.
  • Identify improvement opportunities, propose solutions, and proactively challenge requirements when needed.
  • Deliver reliable data solutions quickly while maintaining high quality and scalability.
  • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and document architecture and modeling decisions.

Requirements

  • Senior-level experience in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for analysis, transformation, and validation.
  • Strong experience with data modeling and data warehouse design.
  • Hands-on experience with BigQuery or another cloud-based data warehouse.
  • Ability to understand complex business logic and validate results from a business perspective.
  • Experience preparing data requirements for AI or machine learning applications.
  • Strong ownership, proactive problem-solving, and improvement-oriented mindset.
  • Track record of delivering high-impact projects quickly and with quality.
  • Advanced or fluent English for ongoing communication with international stakeholders.
  • Experience with dbt, Airbyte, or Airflow is preferred.
  • Knowledge of automated testing and CI/CD for data pipelines is preferred.
