Description

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure technical solutions meet product requirements and quality standards.
  • Manage and refine the product backlog, turning requirements into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other team ceremonies to keep delivery aligned to priorities.
  • Triages and resolves product-related issues, including bugs, while communicating status and expectations to stakeholders.
  • Identify delivery risks early and implement mitigation strategies to support successful product delivery.
  • Work with the Product Manager to make trade-off decisions when priorities, resources, or technical constraints conflict.
  • Partner with stakeholders across engineering, design, marketing, commercial, and customer success to support product development.
  • Analyse data and metrics to inform product decisions, measure performance, and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain knowledge-sharing practices and document product decisions and designs.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience as a Technical Product Manager in a modern software or product organisation.
  • Proven ability to create and manage backlogs and write clear user stories with detailed acceptance criteria.
  • Ability to prioritise features, requirements, and tasks based on customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
  • Comfort participating in technical discussions, code reviews, and architecture decisions.
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to understand needs, pain points, and motivations.
  • Strong analytical skills to collect, analyse, and interpret data for product decisions.
  • Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success.
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions, customer needs, and business priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address technical, business, and customer challenges.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Understanding of programming concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
  • Knowledge of technical architecture, including system design, scalability, and performance optimisation.
