Description

  • Own the end-to-end keyword strategy across all target verticals and product families.
  • Conduct keyword research, analyze search intent, benchmark competitors, and identify content gaps to improve organic search architecture.
  • Lead Civica’s Generative Engine Optimisation strategy and improve visibility in AI-generated answers and LLM discovery platforms.
  • Plan, create, manage, and optimize PPC campaigns within budget.
  • Own keyword selection, bid adjustments, ad copy, quality scoring, and performance reporting for paid search.
  • Lead technical SEO audits and resolve issues affecting crawlability, site speed, indexation, and structured data.
  • Partner with Content and Product Marketing teams to create SEO content briefs and review content for search performance.
  • Monitor and report on organic search trends, keyword rankings, paid search results, and pipeline attribution.
  • Work with Web and Performance Marketing teams to integrate paid and organic search strategies and report on total search impact.
  • Stay current on developments in traditional search, AI-enhanced search, and GEO best practices.

Requirements

  • Deep, hands-on experience in SEO, including keyword strategy, technical SEO, on-page optimisation, and link building.
  • Proven track record of improving organic search visibility and pipeline contribution in a B2B technology environment.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Generative Engine Optimisation and LLM visibility, or an evidence-based approach to building this capability internally.
  • Proficiency with Semrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and Google Ads.
  • Ability to work independently in SEO and PPC tools and translate data into actionable optimisation decisions.
  • Strong collaboration skills with content, web, and PMM teams, including clear briefing and influencing without authority.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to connect search performance to pipeline metrics and explain business value to senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage PPC spend efficiently within a constrained budget.
  • Intellectual curiosity and self-direction to keep pace with a rapidly evolving search landscape.
