Description

  • Develop and maintain data transformations using SQL and dbt or similar frameworks to keep datasets accurate and current.
  • Query, transform, and validate data in Snowflake to support analytics and reporting needs.
  • Build and maintain data models that align with business and analytical requirements.
  • Investigate data quality, consistency, and accuracy issues by tracing problems through pipelines and transformation logic.
  • Analyze and optimize SQL queries and data transformations to improve performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with data developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and support new data source onboarding.
  • Translate business and analytical requirements into reliable, well-documented datasets and data models.
  • Follow established data modeling, testing, documentation, and development best practices.
  • Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of existing data pipelines and transformation workflows.
  • Contribute to analytics and reporting solutions, including dashboard support when needed.

Requirements

  • Advanced English proficiency at B2 level or above for client meetings and discussions.
  • Solid hands-on experience with SQL for querying, transforming, and validating data.
  • Practical experience with Snowflake or a similar cloud data warehouse.
  • Hands-on experience with dbt or a similar data transformation framework.
  • Working knowledge of data modeling concepts and ETL/ELT principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to investigate and troubleshoot data quality and consistency issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in existing data models and transformation workflows.
  • Good communication skills to translate business and analytical requirements into technical deliverables.
  • Experience with Tableau or other BI/dashboarding tools is preferred.
  • Experience with Git and basic CI/CD workflows is preferred.
