Description

  • Lead the design and implementation of modern web applications with a focus on user-facing behavior.
  • Analyze code and application execution to improve optimization and performance.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to keep the team aligned on priorities and direction.
  • Promote a culture of quality within the development team.
  • Support continuous improvement across the development process.
  • Work with UX Designers to turn interface mockups into working software.
  • Participate in review processes with stakeholders to validate solutions.
  • Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from design through deployment and monitoring.

Requirements

  • Strong programming skills in TypeScript and JavaScript.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience as a software engineer.
  • 4+ years of experience with a commercial cloud-based SaaS business.
  • Extensive, demonstrable experience with modern web development technologies, including React and TypeScript.
  • Ideally experience across the full stack.
  • Experience leading software design sessions and proposing strong software designs in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of the full development lifecycle, including UX partnership, development, unit testing, automated functional testing, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Scrum practices.
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and deployment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a focus on creating the best possible user experience.
