Description

  • Design, develop, and optimize complex SAP HANA 2.0 Calculation Views.
  • Create Table Functions and Stored Procedures using SQLScript for analytical and transactional workloads.
  • Implement and maintain HDI Containers, Synonyms, and .hdbgrants configurations.
  • Build, maintain, and troubleshoot SAP Data Services (BODS) pipelines from S/4HANA to Google BigQuery.
  • Design delta-load frameworks to reduce extraction overhead and keep data fresh.
  • Manage BODS job servers and configure complex transformations.
  • Use S/4HANA CDS Views and ODP frameworks for scalable data extraction.
  • Navigate the S/4HANA data dictionary to identify data sources and extraction patterns.
  • Configure and optimize SAP-to-Google Cloud connectivity using GCS and the BigQuery Adapter.
  • Design file-based integration patterns using Parquet and CSV formats.
  • Optimize BigQuery partitioning, clustering, and schema design for analytics performance.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot performance and integration issues across SAP HANA, BODS, GCS, and BigQuery.
  • Recommend architectural improvements that balance freshness, performance, and cost.

Requirements

  • Advanced English proficiency, written and spoken.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP HANA 2.0, including XSA architecture, HDI Containers, Synonyms, and .hdbgrants.
  • Expert-level proficiency in SAP Data Services (BODS).
  • Experience building delta-load frameworks and managing job servers in BODS.
  • Hands-on experience migrating SAP data to Google BigQuery.
  • Deep understanding of BigQuery partitioning, clustering, and schema optimization.
  • Strong familiarity with S/4HANA data dictionary objects such as ACDOCA and MATDOC, and CDS views.
  • Advanced SQLScript skills for SAP HANA Table Functions and Stored Procedures.
  • Practical experience with file-based staging using Google Cloud Storage and Parquet/CSV formats.
  • Ability to understand both business logic and technical implementation details.
  • SAP HANA 2.0 or S/4HANA certification (nice to have).
  • Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification (nice to have).
  • Experience with Cloud Composer, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, or Cloud Functions (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with SAP BW/4HANA or SAP Analytics Cloud (nice to have).
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and master data management principles (nice to have).
  • Previous experience in large-scale ERP data modernization or cloud migration projects (nice to have).
