Description

  • Define and document the product metrics model, including KPIs for engagement, retention, conversion, and churn.
  • Analyze app user behavior using funnels, cohort analysis, usage patterns, and segmentation to generate actionable product and UX recommendations.
  • Investigate drop-off points in the user journey and correlate behavioral data with bug reports and usability issues.
  • Participate in agile product rituals such as planning, reviews, and retrospectives to support decision-making with analytical input.
  • Develop initial analytical models using vehicle telemetry data to explore how vehicle usage patterns relate to app engagement.
  • Collaborate with data engineering on tracking events, data schemas, and pipelines for product analysis.
  • Build and maintain operational and product dashboards in QuickSight for product, engineering, business, and leadership audiences.
  • Produce recurring reports and analyses to support roadmap prioritization and development effort allocation.
  • Present insights and uncertainties clearly, distinguishing what the data proves, suggests, and cannot conclude.
  • Ensure data integrity and quality by validating source reliability before drawing conclusions or making recommendations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with digital product analytics, including engagement metrics, funnels, cohorts, retention, conversion, and churn.
  • Strong SQL skills for data exploration, transformation, and validation in relational and/or columnar environments.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS data stack components such as S3, Athena, and Redshift, or equivalent cloud tools.
  • Ability to build clear, decision-oriented dashboards tailored to both technical and business audiences.
  • Familiarity with analytical modeling concepts such as derived metrics, aggregations, and avoiding double counting.
  • Experience working in agile product environments alongside development, product, and UX teams.
  • Intermediate English for reading technical documentation.
  • Structured analytical curiosity, knowing when to explore broadly and when to close on a hypothesis.
  • Clear communication of uncertainty and an impact-oriented mindset focused on relevant questions.
  • Preferred: experience with IoT, telemetry, or sensor data.
  • Preferred: knowledge of mobile app instrumentation tools such as Firebase Analytics, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar.
  • Preferred: ability to write Python or R for exploratory analysis, process automation, and advanced data manipulation.
  • Preferred: experience with dimensional modeling (Kimball) or Data Vault.
  • Preferred: background in applied statistics, including A/B tests, confidence intervals, and statistical significance analysis.
  • Preferred: experience in the automotive industry, mobility, connected vehicles, or related sectors.
