Description

  • Work as a data engineer focused on AI, contributing to scalable and intelligent data solutions for large volumes of data.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines using PySpark and AWS services such as S3, Glue, EC2, Lambda, and Athena.
  • Automate testing and apply a test pyramid approach across data development workflows.
  • Optimize data pipeline costs and apply FinOps best practices.
  • Work with relational databases and SQL for data processing and analysis.
  • Apply spec-driven development, using specifications as the primary input for AI-assisted development.
  • Use AI throughout the SDLC, including code generation, testing, refactoring, and debugging.
  • Build multi-step agents and reusable skills with tool usage, planning, and execution.
  • Integrate workflows and tools such as Git, CI/CD, issue tracking, and observability platforms.
  • Evaluate AI outputs critically for quality, security, and consistency.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience and strong knowledge of PySpark.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services, including S3, Glue, EC2, Lambda, and Athena.
  • Solid knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
  • Experience with automated testing and applying a test pyramid in development.
  • Knowledge of SDLC practices from design through operate.
  • Advanced use of AI in software development, including code generation, testing, refactoring, and debugging.
  • Experience building agents, reusable skills, and workflow orchestration with AI systems.
  • Experience integrating with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or equivalent tools.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD, issue tracking, and observability tools.
  • Good communication skills and resilience.
