Description

  • Own the squad’s technical delivery, ensuring quality, predictability, and adherence to architectural standards.
  • Lead technical refinement with the product team, translating business needs into viable, well-sized solutions.
  • Organize the squad backlog by prioritizing technical debt, architectural risks, and AI automation opportunities.
  • Lead the adoption and evolution of agentic development tools, with Claude Code as the primary focus, across multidisciplinary squads.
  • Define and spread AI-assisted development methods based on Spec-Driven Development, adapting the lifecycle to each product context.
  • Design and implement agentic engineering processes across the delivery flow, including AI code review, test generation and maintenance, assisted refactoring, living documentation, and PR automation.
  • Act as a systems architect with an AI-first perspective, evaluating trade-offs and proposing integration patterns between agents and services.
  • Ensure consistency across iOS, Android, and BFF systems.
  • Mentor engineers and raise the team’s maturity in AI-assisted engineering.

Requirements

  • Deep hands-on experience with agentic development tools, especially Claude Code.
  • Strong command of Spec-Driven Development, including Spec-Kit and/or BMAD, with the ability to adapt the process to real product contexts.
  • Strong systems thinking, with the ability to understand architecture, dependencies, and cross-team impacts.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams across iOS, Android, and BFF/Java.
  • Experience driving technical refinement and backlog organization in partnership with Product Owners.
  • Proven track record of owning technical delivery for squads.
  • Established experience applying agentic processes to software development, including AI-assisted code review, QA agents, and pipeline automations.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of emerging agentic workflows and the ability to adapt them to operational realities.
  • Availability to be on-site with the client in São Paulo some days of the week.
  • Experience in insurance, payments, or regulated financial products is a plus.
  • Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) and custom agents for engineering workflows is a plus.
