Description

  • Design, develop, and evolve an Internal Developer Platform focused on automation, self-service, and standardized environments.
  • Build solutions that simplify the developer experience and reduce operational complexity for engineering teams.
  • Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code and Infrastructure as Data.
  • Develop internal tools, automations, and integrations for infrastructure, security, and deployment management.
  • Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices.
  • Define and administer cloud networking components such as VPN, hub/spoke, NAT Gateway, firewall, and DNS.
  • Manage TLS certificates and cloud security mechanisms.
  • Contribute to distributed, resilient, and scalable platform architectures.
  • Work with Kubernetes and cloud-native ecosystems to build modern platform capabilities.
  • Promote governance, standardization, and best practices across multiple teams and environments.
  • Partner closely with engineering teams to support platform adoption and automation.
  • Continuously evolve the platform architecture and developer experience.

Requirements

  • Experience with at least one cloud provider such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Data and platform automation.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
  • Knowledge of cloud networking, including VPN, hub/spoke, firewall, NAT Gateway, and DNS.
  • Experience administering TLS certificates.
  • Knowledge of cloud governance and managing large-scale cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of distributed systems architectures and cloud-native platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud security and core protection practices.
  • Strong automation mindset and scripting-oriented development approach.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, including cluster usage and administration.
  • Experience with GitOps using ArgoCD, FluxCD, or similar tools.
  • Experience with automation using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of automation/platform languages such as Python, Go, Java, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Prior experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps Engineering, or building Internal Developer Platforms (IDP).
  • Preferred: Experience with Backstage or other IDP frameworks.
  • Preferred: Experience with Crossplane.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of service mesh technologies such as Istio or Envoy.
  • Preferred: Experience with Golden Paths and self-service engineering platforms.
  • Preferred: Experience with Developer Experience (DevEx).
  • Preferred: Experience working in large-scale cloud-native environments with multiple teams.
